Having been told I am now a different size (partially due to breast reconstruction), I was faced with trying to find a comfortable, doesn't cost the earth and doesn't look like something my gran would wear pre war(!) type of bra. Well I've found it. Freya are the best make for the small back/larger chest woman and really pretty. I just cant seem to find my size that easily, have to hunt around a bit, thank goodness for the internet!

My favourite Freya bras are from the Retro basics range. I have the full cup bra in 30F and it's a pretty good everyday bra - soft, comfortable and supportive with material straps. It isn't that uplifting but it doesn't look droopy. The Retro Basic plunge is also brilliant for plunging tops - the straps are much thinner than the full cup version for some reason. I had to get a 30G to get a smooth line under clothes with this one. The back is quite generous in this size though. My only complaint with these 2 bras is I had to shorten the straps (but this is easy). I also have Sassy which has a funky animal print, Millie which is supportive & pretty, Phoebe which is a standard Freya shape.

They're such a good fit - it feels like I'm not wearing a bra. I finally look my age now with my underwear on - no more old lady underwear! My only complaint is that it's hard to get hold of Freya bras in my size - each web company and shop seem to only stock one of each size (if that) and never have a big range.
