Liv Kit Self Breast Examination Kit Reviewed

Liv Kit Self Breast Examination KitThe Liv kit is a fairly new product for a women to use that helps with monthly self breast examinations and makes it a lot easier to detect changes in the breast and surrounding tissue where lumps may appear.

The kit comes with a small diary section in the enclosed booklet so that you can jot down how your breasts feel and by doing so it will help you to noticeably recognise when changes occur. It will also help when you visit the doctor to discuss these changes, most of us leave the surgery thinking oh I should have mentioned this or that and the diary means that you have all the information at hand, you could even hand the diary to the doctor so that he/she can see for themselves when you first noticed any changes.

Liv Kit DemonstrationThe Liv Kit is excellent for helping to detect any lumps in the breasts when we do our monthly checks which are vital in the early detection of breast cancer.

The Liv Kit was created to help women have a more accurate feel of their breasts when checking for lumps so they can be found early and be treated as necessary.

The Liv kit is endorsed and recommended by Olivia Newton John who has suffered from Breast Cancer and encourages women ro check their breasts on a more regular basis..

Its is made from a soft latex free polyurethane and is filled with a non toxic lubricant that helps the finger move smoothly over the breasts and increases the chance of finding noticeable differences in your breast tissue when doing your monthly self examinations.

The Liv Kit promoted worldwide as the most effective way to self examination of your breasts and when used regularly can help boost your chances of survival of cancer if lumps and changes in your tissue are found early.

Here are some of the ways to self examine your breasts:

1. Put your hands on your sides and look for any visible changes to your skin such as dimpling or puckering.

2. You need to learn what is normal with your breasts in order to know when there are changes, once you know this you can repeat step 1 above.

3. Raise you arms above your head to check again for visible changes.

4. Use the pads of your index, middle and ring fingers not the tips of them.

5. Lie on your back with a pillow under your right shoulder to help evenly distribute your breast tissue, place your right hand under your neck or head.

6. Place the pad over the area that you want to examine and follow the grid in your instruction manual making circular movements with your hand over the entire breast, armpit and surrounding area, ensure to keep the aid in constant contact with your breast.

7. When doing the above process ensure that you start with gentle pressure and then work up to a firmer touch and then firmer still to finish the self examination.

You should remember that in order to notice any differences in your breasts and surrounding areas that you need to be constant and keep to a routine of self examination.

Conclusion
If you find self examinations to be awkward and your not sure what your looking for then the Liv Kit can help you. The gel filled pad is well made and the kit should last you very long time.
